Every living Wisconsin governor recognizes the importance
and accomplishments of We the People and joins the
celebration as honorary co-chairs. Wisconsin’s most
prominent leaders embrace the unique connection between
candidates and voters that We the People provides,
and know this connection creates the informed electorate
vital to the workings of a democracy.

Special Invited Guests
Every major presidential candidate appearing on the
Wisconsin presidential primary ballot has been invited
to attend the We the People celebration. On Tuesday,
February 19, Wisconsin voters will step into the voting
booth and select their primary choice for president. We the
People offers the opportunity to hear from presidential
candidates and opinion leaders in the final days leading to
the all-important primary. Candidates invited include:

Former President Bill Clinton, who participated in the
inaugural We the People town hall meeting, has been invited to attend.

recognized speakers and pundits to share their insights
into the 2008 presidential race and the democratic process.
